Such a short and simple verse, yet so powerful. These words are the foundation of my business 🤍 I truly believe that the way we love each other is a reflection of Jesus’s love for us and as I went through Tina & Brian’s ceremony photos, I could see His love shining through them ✨

I’m so grateful I got to document their stunning elopement at the breathtaking Chapel Chandelier of Gruene. With their amazing planner @joyful_elopements, everything came together so perfectly 😍

Gigi and Jax wanted to celebrate 6 months together with a photoshoot, and honestly, I can’t think of a cuter way to mark this milestone 💕

Thinking back to my own 6 months with my hubby, this session instantly took me back to that day. I wasn’t a photographer yet, but I still grabbed my old smartphone and did a tiny little shoot because apparently, I’ve always had the urge to document everything even if it meant blurry phone pics. 😅 Years later, Facebook and my phone still pop those photos up, reminding me how lucky I am to have met this amazing guy, my now husband! 🥰
When Gigi and Jax look back at these photos 5 years from now, they won’t just remember the day, they’ll remember the firsts, the silly laughs, and all the little inside jokes. 😄💛

A picture can make you feel nostalgic, grateful, loved, sad; the list goes on. It’s the one thing that allows us not just to immerse ourselves in our memories, but also to feel and connect with our past. That sweet embrace we might never get to feel again… having our loved ones close, and forever holding onto that feeling that was captured through the tiny lens of a camera. photography is truly a priceless gift.

I remember my dad chasing us around with a camera, snapping photos, while I ran to the nearest hiding spot thinking about how awful I would look in that picture. What I didn’t realize back then was that, to him and my mom, those were frozen moments they would treasure for a lifetime 🥹.
Oh, how my mindset has changed! I’m so grateful I stepped into the world of photography. It’s truly beautiful how I can express myself through this art, telling someone’s story through an image.

Over the years, I’ve photographed so many families and couples, and worked on countless images that have stirred emotions in me. But this one photo made me feel warm, happy, and nostalgic all at once. Seeing this photo of a mom embracing her daughters was so profound, it brought me back to my own family growing up: the love, the happy memories, the adventures… all now part of the past.
We all grow and set our own paths in life, but we will forever carry these beautiful memories with us. We will carry that embrace in our hearts.

When Samuel reached out to me with his idea for how he wanted to propose to Taharrah, I knew this was going to be one for the books! 🥹 He planned to take her on a romantic walk through the Riverwalk (a favorite spot for them), and then casually drop to one knee and pop the question while I hid nearby capturing it all unfold 📸💛
In case you didn’t notice from the photos… she said YES! 🥰
 Then I popped out of the bushes to surprise her even more 😄🌿
This one truly was a shoot to remember 🥲

Going back to this day.. our wedding day 🥹 Life with you has had its ups and downs, but it’s been nothing short of amazing . With every anniversary, we’ve celebrated with cake, champagne, and maybe even a weekend road trip. But this year was different.

This year, we spent our anniversary in a hospital room. No cake. No champagne. No pink and red hearts. Just exhausting moments and a kind of love that goes deeper than celebration.
In one of the most vulnerable days of my life, you were there, selflessly caring for me. You gave up sleep, stayed by my side, and helped me with everything when I couldn't do it on my own. I saw the pain in your eyes because I was hurting. You were exhausted, but you never once turned away.
That’s when our wedding vows "in sickness and in health" became more than just words. They became real.
And as strange as it may sound, I don’t think I’ve ever fallen for you the way I did during those days. Your strength, your patience and your heart became my comfort, peace and my rock.
I may not have been able to say this then, but I’ll say it now with all of my heart:

As a survivor of a catastrophe myself, my heart feels especially heavy for those walking through this. Although my family and I survived the Catialamar tragedy by the grace of God, we lost everything and it was the incredible kindness of our community that helped us get through it.

Hi friends,
It’s been a little quiet over here, but I’m so happy to be back in this small corner where I get to share not just my work, but also a little bit of my heart ♥️

Just wanted to take a moment to reflect: about a month and a half ago, I remember going into my prayer closet, kneeling before God, and praying a very specific prayer. 🙏 Little did I know He was holding on to every word I said.
After that prayer, I went through a difficult season and faced some of the most painful days I can remember. A time when the usual concerns about everyday life, photography, and what was next faded away. 🌧️
To someone on the outside, it may have looked like God didn’t hear my prayers. I remember asking God, “Why am I going through this?” but in that moment I knew that what I was going through was in fact His answer to that prayer. I knew that this trial wasn’t God turning away, it was Him drawing me closer 🤍

His ways are so far beyond our understanding. Most times the human mind cannot comprehend how God moves, truly He does work in mysterious ways. ✨ All things, even those awful days, were working for my own good. He didn’t take away the pain, but He gave me the strength to walk through it 🌻

If you’re walking through something hard right now, don’t lose heart. Keep praying, keep trusting, even when it doesn’t make sense. God hears you, and He’s closer than you think.
